Measure Twice; Build Once.
You know where you need to go. Now let Mirella build the engine
to get you there.
Starting with a Functional Specification,
Mirella designs the complete application or system on paper.
It's in this document that Mirella describes every piece of
text, every page, and every function that will go into making
an effective application. It's our first opportunity to see
what works and what doesn't - before we spend precious time
and resources on writing code.
With Mirella, there are no assumptions.
We prove each unique piece of functionality described in the
Functional Specification before application coding. If we
can't prove it - we remove it. Doing Proof of Technology for
each piece of unique functionality let's us know what needs
to be redesigned or re-envisioned before it makes an appearance
on the enterprise stage.
When you've approved the Functional
Specification and we've proved the technology, Mirella then
begins application coding. We execute every detail of the
application as per the Functional Specification and creative
design. At periodic intervals, we perform usability, comprehension,
editorial, and regression testing to ensure that the application
meets the needs that it was designed for.
In the final phase of development
we present the beta version of the application to the client
for a final QA opportunity before product release or site
launch. Once the application is in use, we return to the beginning
of the process to measure the performance of the application
against the goals set out during the Analysis phase. If we
discover opportunities for optimization or increased value,
we can work with you to take advantage of them as part of
an ongoing relationship.
